LRG Clothing aka the Lifted Research Group clothes brand has announced a new Hip Hop project in
the works. Already backing the Kid Daytona on his mission of music stardom, the brand has
found interests in more projects. LRG clothes has plans to produce
film 'The Wonder Year', a feature length documentary about Hip Hop producer 9th Wonder.
"Its awesome what LRG Clothing is doing for artists with their creative spending. It seems they
have helped the grass roots of many major artists from Kanye West to Jus Blaze. Being from
the Carolinas myself, I expect something great from this 9th Wonder Documentary," spoke
new iTunes sensation C.KHiD.
Titled "The Wonder Year", Kenneth Priced directed the documentary about producer 9th Wonder.
The film takes a look at the last year in the life of the North Carolina Grammy Award-winning
producer. Also the co-founder of rap group Little Brother, the film goes into more than just
the rap beats.
LRG clothing has plans to unveil the film trailer April 20. The brand told
HipHopDx.com
there are plans to submit the Hip Hop documentary for screening throughout summer 2011.
"The Wonder Year" boasts appearances from Hip Hop superstars Drake, Alchemist, and underground rap
star and Little Brother band-mate Phonte. More cameos are made in the film than listed, but the
brand is keeping those details under wrap.
